The first time I knew I wanted to be a photographer was on a trip to New York. The year was 2008 and New York was magical then. Roaming Central Park to find something interesting to capture was truly an adventure that will always be special.

I was born and raised in Houston. My love for photography began when I started photographing dancers from my dance company.

Sneaking in pictures of my friends when in their element is an old hobby of mine, so portraiture is like second nature to me.

Just like with my photography, I enjoy the simpler things in life - being out and about with friends and family, good food, and nice views.

I always wanted to get professional portraits, but couldn’t shake the feeling that I’d be too awkward and shy for anything good to come out of it. I heard about Ethan from some mutual friends, and decided to give it a try. I am very glad I did, because I felt extremely comfortable during the whole process! He really did manage to catch “me” through the camera, with hardly any effort necessary on my part.
